About the role:
Working alongside our wine team, your primary focus is staff training and wine sales. This role is for someone who loves being on the floor with the team, engaging with our guests and team with equal passion.

This is a diverse hands-on role for a sales-focused, training and service superstar, someone who wants to help give our clients the best possible experience every day.

Aside from working the floor and selling wine you will oversee incoming stock, conduct periodic stocktakes, be engaged in training line staff about the finer points of wine, and report to our Head Sommelier.

Working as part of a passionate and collaborative team based at Farmers Daughters in Collins Street you will have support from the group managers, restaurant manager, wine team and operations team.

Your input will be valued, your ideas listened to and your contribution rewarded.

About you:
You have an infectious passion for wine and a natural flair for training and customer service. You are qualified and always well-presented, with demonstrated experience in a similar wine-focused role, preferably with a strong focus on Victorian wine.

WSET Level 3 or similar certification,



and existing relationships within the Victorian and Gippsland wine industry network, are to your advantage.

You will be a clear and confident communicator, experienced in selling and recommending wines in a hatted restaurant or similar, as well as experienced in stock control. Someone who understands that flexibility is key, as you'll need to be available to work evenings and weekends.
