Sales & Operations Coordinator - Auctions (Auction Services Coordinator)

About the opportunity

Ampersand International is partnering with a leading national auction group to appoint an Auction Services Coordinator to its Perth team.
This is a hands-on operations support role. You'll keep every auction moving, from the moment a vendor instructs a sale, through listing and auction day, to payments and post-sale wrap-up. You'll be the local link between Sales, Operations, Administration, Finance, Customer Service and offshore support teams.

What you'll be doing

- Vendor and sales support: help with vendor onboarding, account setup, documentation and sale requests, and support Business Development Managers with stock visibility and workflow updates
- Auction coordination: prepare assets for sale, including asset information, sale allocation, approved reserves, GST treatment and buyer premium checks, so every listing is ready to launch
- Post-sale finance: check payment status, complete receipting, process approved vendor payments, prepare redlists for GM approval, coordinate refunds, raise purchase orders and allocate recoverable costs
- Systems and reporting: keep auction systems accurate and up to date, and track sale readiness,



stock pipeline and outstanding actions
- Problem solving: spot missing information, data issues or risks early and escalate them to the right person before they affect a sale or a customer
- Continuous improvement: help shape SOPs and simplify workflows across the team

About you

- 3-4+ years' experience in administration, coordination, shared services, auction support or a similar operations support role
- Experience in a high-volume, process-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
- Robust systems skills and excellent attention to detail
- Exposure to financial administration such as payments, receipting, invoicing or reconciliations is highly regarded
- Experience with auction management or operational systems is a bonus
- A clear, professional communicator who is organised, calm under pressure and good at following through
