About Sharon AI
Sharon AI is an Australian neocloud, delivering trusted AI infrastructure organisations need to build, train and run AI at scale. We support customers across the full AI lifecycle, from training through to inference and agentic AI, drawing on a strong ecosystem of technology and co-location partners to deliver capability where it’s needed. As the first neocloud to join NVIDIA’s AI Compute Program, we’re growing quickly, scaling our AI Factory platform to meet rising demand for advanced compute.
The Role The Senior Delivery Lead, Managed Platforms is responsible for executing the roadmap for the managed platform and AI cloud products that let customers and internal teams consume accelerated computing infrastructure through scalable, automated services. The role delivers managed Kubernetes and Slurm, platform orchestration, multi-tenancy, identity integration and observability, together with the cloud consumption experience: onboarding, access, provisioning, console and API journeys, usage visibility and billing integration.
Working with the Product Manager, platform engineers, the AI architect, frontend, backend and API engineers, SRE, security, finance, sales and the documentation team, the role delivers supported platforms and a coherent customer consumption journey, from internal platforms through to smaller shared and dedicated AI cloud deployments. Engineering owns technical design, and the Product Manager owns requirements and priorities.
The role is dedicated to this domain and works with the Product Manager, who defines the what, while the Senior Delivery Lead leads the work. It reports to the internal PMO and manages escalations, board and weekly reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the execution roadmap for Managed Platforms in Jira, turning the Product Manager’s priorities into milestones, sequencing and team capacity.
- Lead the work while the Product Manager defines the what, agreeing scope, time and capacity trade-offs.
- Run the squad’s scrums and sprint ceremonies, remove impediments and drive retrospective actions.
- Lead quarterly epic planning in the squad’s Jira space, bringing Operations fixes, Product Manager features, CTO priorities, Technical Program Manager needs and GTM Engineering voice-of-customer input into one backlog.
- Bring items for decision to the weekly Scrum of Scrums, coordinate decision making across stakeholders and manage escalations through relevant channels.
- Manage dependencies across platform engineering,
architecture, SRE, security, network and storage engineering, finance, sales, customer success, operations and documentation.
- Plan Kubernetes, platform and customer-facing cloud releases against upstream versions, supported integrations and Operations readiness.
- Coordinate launch readiness for onboarding, provisioning, pricing and usage visibility with Sales, customer success and support.
- Keep Jira boards, dashboards and labels (win, blocker, hotspot) accurate, and provide weekly and board reporting.
- Confirm endorsements before release: designs, supportability, industry alignment from the Head of GTM Engineering, and investment and release approval.
- Deliver outcomes to agreed scope, time and quality, and hand over to Operations and the commercial teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 6 – 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including delivery, program management or Scrum Master roles.
- Demonstrated experience running Scrum ceremonies for an engineering team and leading quarterly planning with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of an execution roadmap and delivery reporting in Jira.
- Experience managing dependencies and escalations across engineering, suppliers and business functions.
- Experience in Kubernetes, cloud platform or self-service platform delivery is desirable.
Core
- Scrum and sprint ceremony facilitation, with Agile coaching skills.
- Planning and dependency management across multiple teams and external parties.
- Stakeholder influence across engineering, commercial and finance functions, without direct reporting authority.
- Strong Jira and Confluence capability, including reporting.
- Risk management and clear escalation.
- High ownership, pragmatism and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-growing environment.
Technical
- Kubernetes and container platforms, including multi-tenancy and lifecycle management.
- Identity, access management and tenancy models.
- Observability, SRE practices and operational automation.
- Infrastructure as code and GitOps delivery pipelines.
- Self-service provisioning, APIs, usage metering and billing integrations.
- GPU workloads on Kubernetes.
Eligibility
- Ability to work across technical, commercial and operational stakeholders in a rapidly scaling business.
- Eligibility to work in the nominated employment jurisdiction.
- Ability to satisfy applicable customer or government screening requirements where required.
- Demonstrated commitment to information security, confidentiality and qualified integrity.
Nice to have:
- Delivery experience of Kubernetes, cloud platform or developer-focused products.
- Familiarity with managed Kubernetes services from hyperscalers, neoclouds or GPU cloud providers.
- Understanding of multi-tenancy, identity and access management, metering and platform observability.
- Experience delivering self-service portals, customer APIs or usage-based billing integrations.
