With a growing pipeline of major infrastructure projects across Regional NSW, Brisbane and South Australia, we are seeking experienced Steel Fixers and Formworkers to join our team on a major civil and energy infrastructure project in Central West NSW.

About The Roles

We are looking for skilled tradespeople with experience in major civil construction who take pride in their workmanship and can contribute to the safe, efficient delivery of project works.

Steel Fixers will carry out reinforcement installation and tying in accordance with construction drawings, reinforcement schedules and engineering specifications.

Formworkers will install, assemble and strip formwork, ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and site requirements.

Formwork Systems On Site Include

- Conventional timber and steel formwork, Doka, Acrow

Both roles require a strong focus on safety, quality, teamwork and productivity in a major project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Steel Fixers

- Install, tie and secure reinforcing steel in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Read and follow reinforcement drawings and bar schedules.
- Position reinforcement bars, mesh, ligatures and associated components.
- Maintain correct reinforcement spacing, cover and placement.
- Coordinate with formwork, concreting and other construction crews.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Formworkers
- Set out, assemble, install and strip formwork.
- Construct conventional timber and steel formwork and work with Doka and Acrow systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.




- Measure and set out formwork accurately.
- Install and secure formwork, props, bracing and associated components.
- Identify and address formwork issues to maintain quality and accuracy.

All team members
- Follow site safety procedures, SWMS and project requirements.
- Attend pre-starts and follow instructions from site supervision.
- Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Leading Hands, Engineers and other trades.

About You We are seeking reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who can work effectively within an experienced civil construction crew.

You Will Have

- Proven 4+ years experience as a Steel Fixer or Formworker on civil construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong practical skills relevant to your trade.
- A current White Card, driver licence and your own vehicle.
- A reliable, punctual and organised approach to work.
- Positive communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Relevant trade qualifications, tickets or licences (advantageous).
- Willingness to work on a regional project in Central West NSW on a DIDO/FIFO roster.

Previous experience on major energy or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

- $45–$55/hr including casual loading + penalties, variable on experience and role.
- 3:1 working roster with seven-day working weeks.
