We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern digital solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and technical specialists to define solution architectures that align with strategic objectives, security requirements and operational needs.

This is an chance to play a key role in a significant digital transformation initiative, contributing to architecture strategy, technology decision-making and solution delivery across a modern Microsoft and cloud-based ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture activities from discovery through to implementation.
- Develop solution designs, architecture artefacts and technical roadmaps.
- Define integration approaches across business applications, platforms and external systems.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance and operational requirements.
- Provide architecture governance and assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support procurement activities, vendor evaluations and technology assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers and infrastructure teams.




- Contribute to architecture standards, frameworks and best practices.
- Present architecture recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

Essential Experience

- Significant experience working as a Solution Architect within large and complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
- Strong background designing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with application, integration and API architecture.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, security and compliance principles.
- Experience developing architecture documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams and decision records.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to balance business outcomes, technical requirements and delivery constraints.

Additional Experience

- Experience working within government, regulated or highly compliant environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience supporting procurement processes and vendor assessments.
- Relevant industry certifications in architecture, cloud or technology disciplines.
