Your new role

This EL1 Finance and Governance Manager role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, governance and program delivery. Working closely with program managers, finance teams, contractors and corporate stakeholders, you will help strengthen financial practices while identifying practical ways to improve how the program operates.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial management and reporting activities
- Undertaking SAP financial reporting, reconciliations and financial administration
- Managing purchase orders, goods receipting, invoices and contract-related financial transactions
- Developing financial procedures, guidance and business processes
- Analysing financial information and improving processes, controls and reporting
- Preparing financial and program reporting for senior executives and governance forums
- Supporting contract management and financial governance activities
- Contributing to future ERP transition activities and associated process improvements

What you'll need to succeed





You will be an adaptable finance professional who can operate confidently at the EL1 level and bring sound judgement to a complex program environment.

You will ideally have:

- Experience across financial management, budgeting, forecasting and/or financial reporting
- Strong experience with SAP or a similar enterprise financial system
- The ability to analyse financial processes and implement practical improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills
- Experience developing procedures, guidance materials and reporting products
- Strong attention to detail and an outcomes-focused approach
- The ability to independently manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
