Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking a Registered Nurse for a contract placement across Eyre Ward A and the Emergency Department. This is a fixed-term opportunity running from 16 November 2026 through 8 January 2027, spanning just over seven weeks. The role is classified as RN1 and offers flexible hours between 0.84 and 1.0 FTE (76 hours per fortnight for full-time equivalent), based in Port Lincoln, South Australia. You'll work across both the ward and emergency department, with the flexibility to be redeployed to other areas depending on operational needs and skill mix requirements.

Preferred Requirements





- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Demonstrated clinical experience in acute care settings, ideally across both ward and emergency environments
- Ability to work flexibly across different areas and adapt to changing operational priorities
- Robust communication skills and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to engage with regional healthcare delivery and support local service continuity

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous experience in contract or temporary nursing roles, or familiarity with rotating rosters
