Mechanical Trades Assistant

- $45.00 Per Hour
- Monday to Friday
- Located in Palmerston City

WorkPac are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious mechanical trade assistant. This role is 45 per hour, Monday to Friday, Early November start.

To be successful you must hold a current Forklift License and possess a valid driver's licence.

About Our Client

Across Australia provides an extensive range of premium equipment and after-sales support to service the agricultural, civil, construction, utility, mining, forestry, and natural resource management industries.

What You Will Be Doing

- Assist technicians with workshop repairs, servicing, and machine preparation.
- Perform equipment cleaning, detailing, and pre-delivery tasks.
- Load and unload parts, equipment, and materials.
- Support yard organisation, stock handling, and housekeeping activities.
- Collect and deliver parts and equipment as required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general branch operations and customer support activities.

What You Will Need

- Valid driver's licence
- Current Forklift Ticket
- Previous trade assistant, maintenance, industrial or general labouring experience
- Reliable,



hardworking attitude and solid teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Able to pass a medical and Drug and Alcohol screen (DAS)
