AVH Business Services has spent the past 10 years building an established bookkeeping and BAS practice, supported by a team of 18, long-term client relationships, established systems and strong referral channels.

We are now expanding into taxation and looking for an experienced Registered Tax Agent to lead our dedicated tax division, shape its development and potentially work towards an equity arrangement.

You won't be starting from scratch. We already have signed tax clients waiting to get started, alongside an established business, incoming leads and referral opportunities.

You'll have access to experienced staff, administration support, qualified personnel and two in-house software developers. Our bookkeeping and BAS division operates independently, so your focus will be taxation, client relationships, quality, compliance and growing the tax function.

The Role

You'll lead tax service delivery, prepare and review tax returns and financial statements, provide tax planning and advisory services, manage compliance and client relationships, and help develop efficient workflows and profitable growth.

Brisbane office attendance required one or two days per week for face-to-face client meetings, wet signatures and providing a little old-fashioned service for some of our more traditional clients, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

We're looking for someone with current TPB Tax Agent registration, strong public practice experience, sound technical skills and a commercial mindset.
