Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, responsible for overseeing daily operations on designated construction or project sites. This position coordinates the work of staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. Daily responsibilities include organizing site activities, monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. The Site Supervisor will manage resource allocation, contribute to problem-solving on site,



and communicate regularly with project managers and clients regarding timelines, risks, and site requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, reporting incidents, and supporting continuous improvement in site efficiency and safety performance.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience supervising construction or contracting sites, with the ability to coordinate multiple workfronts and activities.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation, risk management, and safe work practices on active sites.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation, and translate them into clear instructions for site teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and meeting project deadlines.
- Competence in basic digital tools and site reporting systems (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project or safety reporting apps).
- Relevant trade background or construction industry experience.
- Current driver’s license; construction white card; trade wualification desirable
