Join an established global organisation supplying specialised chemical solutions to industrial customers. Due to continued focus within the food and beverage market, they are seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to manage existing customers while developing new business across Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining relationship management, technical problem solving and business development. You will spend significant time in front of customers, understanding their processes and identifying solutions that deliver genuine operational value.
Your new role:
- Managing and developing an existing portfolio of customers across the food and beverage sector
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities across your territory
- Promoting a range of chemical solutions to existing and prospective customers
- Conducting regular customer site visits and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Understanding customer processes, challenges and requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
- Providing ongoing technical, product and process support to customers
- Delivering product, process and safety training where required
- Working with customers to support relevant health and safety requirements
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities to increase account penetration
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous B2B sales or account management experience within chemicals, food and beverage, food manufacturing, hygiene, sanitation, ingredients, processing equipment or another technical industrial market
- Previous chemical sales experience would be advantageous
- A solid technical mindset with the ability to understand customer processes and translate technical information into commercial solutions
- The ability to work autonomously across a territory while remaining part of a wider sales team
- A qualification or technical background relating to chemistry, chemical processes, food science or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential
