Join AVID Property Group’s Finance team and help deliver a reliable, responsive accounts payable service across the business.
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for end-to-end AP function, supporting accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices. You’ll work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries, maintain strong financial controls and continue to improve the way our processes work.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, check and process supplier invoices, matching details to purchase orders and job contract numbers.
- Manage supplier invoice and corporate credit card payments, checking accuracy and GST requirements and helping ensure payments are made on time.
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain the integrity of the AP sub-ledger.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and process exceptions, and act as a first point of contact for AP queries.
- Support invoice approvals and digital workflows, reporting, invoice ageing and compliance with relevant policies and controls.
- Work with the Creditor Applications team and colleagues across Finance and the business to maintain system integrity and deliver continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable role and a sound understanding of the end-to-end AP process.
- Knowledge of GST, tax invoice requirements and accounts payable systems.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and resolve issues methodically.
- A customer-focused, collaborative approach and clear communication skills when working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Finance or a related discipline is desirable
