This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex payroll challenges, analysing large datasets and partnering with project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Extract, cleanse, transform and validate payroll data
- Analyse and reconcile complex payroll datasets
- Prepare payroll data for system migration and upload activities
- Conduct payroll audits, validation and data integrity checks
- Interpret awards and assess payroll-related impacts
- Complete redundancy and employee entitlement calculations
- Support payroll remediation and compliance initiatives
- Perform scenario modelling and workforce impact analysis
- Identify payroll risks, anomalies and improvement opportunities
- Partner with payroll, HR, finance and project teams throughout transformation activities

About You





To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge
- Practical award interpretation experience
- Excellent understanding of payroll compliance and legislation
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Experience working with large and complex payroll datasets
- Robust reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to payroll projects, transformations, integrations or system implementations
- Confidence engaging with a wide range of business stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
