I’m currently working with a leading AI infrastructure business that is scaling its global network engineering function. They are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to help secure the networks powering large-scale AI infrastructure and GPU clusters. This is an opportunity to work across data centre networks, WAN, cloud connectivity and network security automation in a rapidly growing environment.

The Role

• Build, operate and harden firewalls, VPNs and network segmentation across data centres and cloud connections

• Own firewall and access policies, including rule reviews, change control and least-privilege enforcement

• Secure remote and administrative access to network infrastructure, including MFA and privileged access controls

• Protect network edges through BGP security, route filtering and DDoS mitigation

• Monitor security events, investigate threats and lead network security incident response

• Manage network device vulnerabilities, firmware updates, patching and verification

• Automate security operations, including firewall deployments, configuration compliance and alert enrichment

• Develop security tooling using Git, code review and CI/CD,



leveraging AI to accelerate investigation and triage

• Support security audits and customer requirements, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2

Desired Qualifications

• Solid network security engineering experience within data centre, cloud or service provider environments

• Strong hands-on knowledge of next-generation firewalls, such as Fortinet or Palo Alto Networks, VPNs and segmentation

• Strong networking fundamentals across BGP, OSPF or IS-IS, VXLAN, EVPN and MPLS

• Experience with network platforms such as Cisco, Juniper and Arista, including infrastructure hardening

• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and security incident management

• Strong coding skills in Python or Go, with experience automating security policies, compliance checks or incident response

• Experience securing HPC and GPU environments, including NVIDIA Spectrum networking or DGX clusters, is highly regarded

• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 and NIST

• Robust communication skills and the ability to balance security requirements with business needs
