Role Description Seeking a full time, Air Conditioning Service Technician role based in Sydney, NSW. The Technician will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial, Industrial, retail, and strata high rise apartments air conditioning and HVAC systems. Daily tasks include responding to service calls, troubleshooting system issues, replacing parts, completing service reports, and ensuring work meets safety and compliance standards. The role involves field work at customer locations, communicating clearly with clients about findings and recommended solutions,



and collaborating with the team to support efficient scheduling and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for HVAC and air conditioning systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including working independently on-site and managing service calls.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients.
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate in air conditioning/refrigeration or HVAC, and appropriate licensing as required in NSW.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices for HVAC installation and service.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and read technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and capability to travel to customer sites; prior experience in fire or BMCS systems is an advantage.
