Great opportunity for an immediately available logistics officer to join a fast-paced steel distribution environment based in South Brisbane to work Monday to Friday 10am-6pm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands on with systems, problem-solving, and coordinating warehouse and transport operations.

Your new role

Retrieve and process customer orders through logistics systems

Work closely with the warehouse team to pack and allocate products for customer orders.

Generate planning and dispatch reports to create delivery loads for the following day.

operate across two separate logistics systems, depending on the production source of the products

Print and prepare dispatch documentation for the warehouse and transport teams

Update operational information and planning spreadsheets within Microsoft Teams

Investigate and resolve day-to-day operational and system issues to ensure deliveries remain on schedule.

Complete compliance checks, including verifying load compliance.

What you'll need to succeed





Experience in logistics, transport, warehousing or supply chain is highly desirable.

Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple software systems quickly.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritise tasks in a rapid-paced operational environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
