Stanthorpe Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a three-week contract placement across general nursing and aged care services in Stanthorpe, Queensland. Running from 2 November to 22 November 2026, this role offers up to 80 hours per fortnight and is ideal for a nurse with rural and remote experience who thrives in a versatile, team-oriented environment. You'll work across the general ward, supporting both acute patients and aged care residents while contributing to the broader service needs of the hospital.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing and patient management
- Proven cannulation skills and competence in triage assessment
- Experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings
- Team leadership experience and flexibility to support other services as needed

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Additional certifications in aged care or rural nursing practice
