In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Assembly Technicians:

Key responsibilities:

· Assemble and test high-volume, build-to-print units for production, as well as prototype units

· Build and assemble DC and RF circuits for microwave modules

· Manufacture electronic assemblies or subassemblies in strict accordance with documented processes and work instructions

· Assemble production jigs, accessories, and prototype assemblies or subassemblies

· Perform basic functional testing of electronic circuits

· Operate specialised manufacturing equipment including wire/ribbon bonding, gap welding, die placing, reflow soldering, vapour degreasing and hand soldering

· Conduct routine calibration, maintenance and housekeeping of manufacturing equipment and tooling

Key requirements:

· Proven experience working under a microscope and interpreting images accurately

· Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings

· Outstanding fine motor skills and a high level of attention to detail

· Good verbal and written communication skills





· Demonstrated experience in miniature assembly (or related activities)

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment

· IPC certification (e.g. IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent) will be highly regarded

Mechanical Assembler:

Key responsibilities:

· Assemble mechanical and electronic modules

· Assemble and test high-volume, build-to-print units for production, as well as prototype units

· Perform basic testing of circuit functionality

· Use hand and power tools to assemble components according to engineering specifications and assembly instructions

Key requirements:

· Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing or similar

· Ability to work in strict accordance with technical instructions, drawings, documented methods and processes

· Robust mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

· Ability to remain standing for prolonged periods

Desirable but not essential:

· Previous experience in electronics module assembly

· Electronic cable manufacturing experience

· IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883 or equivalent certification
