We are seeking a motivated Civil Construction Estimator to join our team in Melbourne North. You will be responsible for preparing accurate tenders and cost estimates for diverse public and private sector projects across Victoria.
Key responsibilities
- Review project specifications, architectural/engineering drawings, and geotechnical reports to prepare accurate tenders and cost estimates
- Perform detailed measurements for bulk earthworks, cut-and-fill analysis, material reuse, and civil packages
- Solicit, analyse, and compare quotes from subcontractors, trade partners, and material suppliers
- Identify project risks, site logistics challenges, and propose cost-saving or value-engineered alternatives
- Assist in client presentations, bid submissions, and post-tender negotiations
About you
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the civil construction, earthworks, or infrastructure sector
- Solid analytical skills with proficiency in estimating software and digital take-off tools
- Solid understanding of civil construction methodologies, site logistics, and local Victorian subcontractor markets
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related trade background
