Join our Mt Holland Geology team as a permanent full time Mine Geologist working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster. Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will translate field observations and geological data into the daily reports, blend plans, dig blocks and operational direction that support safe, timely and quality production. The role combines hands-on pit and ROM inspections with technical analysis, mapping, scheduling input and cross-functional collaboration, giving you clear ownership of geology outputs that matter each day.

What you'll do

• Prepare and issue daily geology reports and blend plans, and provide accurate geology information to production meetings.
• Conduct pit, ROM and operational-area inspections, providing clear instructions and feedback on truck destinations and crusher feed compliance.
• Develop dig blocks, analyse blast movement and plan timely ore mark-ups in line with departmental procedures.
• Complete face and floor mapping, drill-pattern inspections and ore-pattern reconciliation, keeping geological information and databases current.
• Provide geology input into daily and weekly schedules, support pit technicians and maintain effective handovers across shifts.

What you'll bring

• A tertiary qualification in Geology, such as a Bachelor of Science or recognised equivalent.
• At least two years' geology experience in operations and/or exploration geology.
• Proficiency with geological software such as Leapfrog, Surpac or similar.
• The ability to develop and interpret geological field data, with awareness of mining health, safety and environmental requirements.
• A current driver's licence and the ability to operate a manual vehicle.

Covalent Lithium is a fully integrated lithium mining and refining operation in Western Australia.
