ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning national commercial construction contractor to appoint a Project Manager to its South Australian team.

With more than 60 years of successful operation, this business has established a reputation for delivering high-quality, often iconic construction projects. Currently experiencing a period of growth, its SA operations comprise a team of approximately 50 industry professionals who pride themselves on collaboration, accountability and building lasting relationships.

The current project pipeline offers considerable variety, spanning education developments valued between $1M and $15M, civic projects up to $10M, and larger health and aged care projects exceeding $30M.

The Chance

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of commercial construction projects from initial planning through to completion, typically valued between $5M and $30M+.

Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will have the support of an established project team, including a Site Manager, Contract Administrator, Project Administrator, Project Coordinator and HSE Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning and design coordination through to construction and handover.
- Coordinating clients, consultants,



subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Overseeing project programmes, budgets, procurement and construction methodologies.
- Monitoring project quality, commercial performance and programme milestones.
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing practical solutions to keep delivery on track.
- Ensuring compliance with building legislation, safety requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Supporting and motivating project team members to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial construction and a sound understanding of the Adelaide building market. You are comfortable managing projects autonomously, taking ownership of outcomes and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

You bring a technically minded approach to construction, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering commercial construction projects within the Adelaide market.
- Experience managing projects valued from $5M, ideally across multiple sectors.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, programming, procurement and cost management.
- Previous exposure to contracts administration,



with the ability to understand and manage project financials.
- Confident leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coordinate project teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management capabilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
