About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casual Registered Nurse to join our warm and supportive team at Mitchell House.





Working within our aged care home, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care and supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort, and respect. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of older Australians.

Availability to work night shifts and weekends is essential.

No Two Days Are the Same! As a Registered Nurse, You Will:

- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to residents.
- Undertake clinical assessments and contribute to individualised care planning.
- Administer medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Lead and support Personal Care Assistants and Enrolled Nurses to ensure best-practice care delivery.
- Liaise with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
- Respond to changes in residents' health and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance practices.

About You

You'll thrive with us if you have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting (desirable).
- Strong clinical assessment,



decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, resident-centred approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation requirements, and clinical compliance.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Relevant vaccinations in line with aged care requirements.
