Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Arborist / Climbing Arborist to join our team.

We're looking for a skilled arborist who takes pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining professional standards, and leading by example. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced climber who is ready to take on greater responsibility and become a key member of a growing business.

The role offers a diverse range of work, including technical pruning, tree removals, rigging operations, crane removals, EWP work, government contracts, commercial projects, and residential tree care.

Essential Requirements

Certificate III in Arboriculture

Current Driver's Licence

MR or HR Driver's Licence

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current National Police Check

Demonstrated experience as a climbing arborist

High-level pruning and canopy management skills

Advanced spikeless climbing ability

Sound knowledge of safe and efficient arboricultural work practices

Ability to lead, mentor, and organise a crew

Strong communication and customer service skills





Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team

A current WWCC and National Police Check are required due to the nature of our work. If you don't currently hold these clearances, we're happy to assist the successful applicant in obtaining them.

Highly Regarded Qualifications & Experience

Certificate IV in Arboriculture

Diploma of Arboriculture

EWP Ticket

Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience

Crane removal experience

Experience working on government and commercial contracts

The Opportunity

We're seeking a well-rounded arborist with a strong understanding of modern arboricultural practices. The successful applicant will possess advanced pruning skills, extensive spikeless climbing experience, and the ability to confidently lead a crew while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and workmanship.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of pruning and removals and takes pride in producing quality outcomes for clients. We are particularly interested in finding an arborist who values proper tree care, professional presentation, and strong customer relationships, rather than someone solely focused on removal work.

While the minimum qualification requirement for this role is a Certificate III in Arboriculture, applicants with higher arboricultural qualifications, extensive industry experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities will be highly regarded.
