As our Kitchen Steward, you’ll play an significant role in keeping our kitchen clean, safe and organised, helping our chefs focus on what they do best.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans and work areas.
- Operating commercial dishwashing equipment and ensuring all items are cleaned to a high standard.
- Maintaining cleanliness across kitchen floors, storage areas and dishwashing stations.
- Supporting the kitchen team with the cleaning and organisation of equipment and supplies.
- Ensuring clean crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment are available when needed.
- Assisting with waste management and recycling in line with hotel procedures.
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly, especially during busy periods.
