About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of environmental and waste management services, committed to delivering safe and sustainable waste and recycling solutions. They are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Transfer Station Attendant to assist with daily operations at their waste management facility.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong focus on workplace safety and takes pride in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organised site.

What you will be Doing

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the transfer station, directing customers and contractors, managing waste and recyclable materials and ensuring the facility remains safe, clean and compliant.

Duties include:

- Directing customers and contractors to the appropriate disposal and recycling areas

- Inspecting, sorting and managing waste and recyclable materials

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised transfer station environment

- Operating site equipment and performing basic maintenance where authorised

- Providing excellent customer service and assisting with daily site operations

- Following all workplace health, safety, environmental and operational procedures

- Assisting with general site duties as required

What you will need





- Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate to heavy loads

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude

- Own transport and ability to reliably travel to site

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Willingness to undertake hands-on and physically demanding duties

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
