Established in 2008 as part of Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, Mars Clinic provides dedicated physiotherapy services for children and adolescents experiencing bladder and bowel concerns, including bedwetting, daytime wetting, constipation and soiling.

Our team works closely with children, families and medical specialists to provide individualised, evidence-based care.

With clinics at Annerley and Toowong, along with telehealth services, Mars Clinic provides an opportunity to work in an established clinical service while developing valuable skills in paediatric continence physiotherapy.

Your role

Working alongside our experienced team, you will:

- Assess and treat children and adolescents experiencing bladder and bowel difficulties.

- Develop individualised management plans and provide practical education and strategies for children and their families.

- Learn and apply advanced, non-invasive assessment and treatment techniques.

- Collaborate with colleagues, referring practitioners and medical specialists to support coordinated patient care.

You will be supported through structured training, mentoring and ongoing professional development as you build your confidence and clinical expertise.

About you

We are looking for a physiotherapist who:

- Holds current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist.

- Enjoys working with children, adolescents and families.

- Has an interest in paediatrics,

continence or pelvic health.

- Demonstrates empathy, sound clinical reasoning and strong communication skills.

- Enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to ongoing learning.

Previous experience in children's continence physiotherapy is highly regarded but not essential.

We recognise that this is an advanced area of practice. What matters most is your clinical foundation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Opportunities across Active Rehabilitation

Depending on your interests and experience, there may also be opportunities to combine your Mars Clinic role with other areas of physiotherapy across Active Rehabilitation, including neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, men's and women's pelvic health, and hospital-based services.

If you have an interest or experience in these areas, we encourage you to include this in your application.
