We are exclusively partnering with an Australian digital delivery consultancy to appoint a Technical Business Analyst who thrives on velocity, variety, and delivering bespoke software solutions.
Our client specialises in rapid application delivery, modern enterprise app builds, and intelligent automation. Instead of spending a year on a single system upgrade, you will work directly with diverse enterprise and scale-up clients, turning ambiguous, highly customised ideas into live production software in matters of weeks, not quarters.

What You’ll Do

- Facilitate collaborative client discovery workshops to dissect complex, non-standard business processes and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Leverage AI productivity tools to accelerate user story generation, synthesise discovery notes,



map workflows, and stress-test edge cases.
- Write high-quality, lean user stories with robust acceptance criteria (Gherkin / Given-When-Then), process flows, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), and API integration mappings.
- Manage scope defensibility with clients, prioritising MVP features while keeping business value at the centre of every sprint.
- Balance priorities across two to three rapid-paced project streams, ensuring squads have clear, unblocked backlogs ready to build.
- Validate technical feasibility alongside architects and engineers, proactively spotting edge cases, security dependencies, and integration bottlenecks.

What You Bring

- Consulting or Agency Heritage: A proven background working in a digital consultancy, software delivery agency, or professional services firm where fast-paced scoping and client relationship management are second nature.
- AI Tooling Mindset: Active and practical use of AI tools (such as generative AI prompts for story writing, backlog structuring, or synthetic test data creation) to speed up analysis and improve project throughput.
- Technical Depth: Comfortable engaging in technical discussions around data models, REST APIs, JSON payloads, third-party integrations, and cloud architectures.
- Rapid Delivery Experience: Hands-on experience working in high-velocity agile sprints, MVPs, and rapid application platforms, whether custom modern web, OutSystems, Mendix, or cloud-native app builds.
- Adaptability and Speed: Proven capability to context-switch across concurrent client accounts without dropping sprint velocity or detail.
- First-Class Facilitation: Strong stakeholder presence and the communication skills to challenge assumptions, unpack bespoke workflows, and build trust with client leaders.
