Parts & Equipment Coordinator

$76,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation | Full-Time

Are you organised, detail-oriented and experienced in parts, stores or logistics? Looking for an opportunity that offers more than your typical administration role?

Staffpower is seeking a motivated and reliable Parts & Equipment Coordinator to support maintenance operations within an established Defence environment.

This is a varied position combining administration, parts ordering, inventory management and hands-on coordination of equipment and supplies.

Working closely with tradespeople, supervisors and maintenance teams, you'll play an important role in ensuring the right parts, equipment and information are available when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ordering, receiving, distributing and arranging the return of parts and equipment

- Coordinating spare parts requirements and following up on outstanding orders

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking parts and equipment

- Processing work orders, job tickets and associated documentation

- Assisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities

- Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records across internal systems

- Preparing purchase requisitions and supporting procurement activities

- Providing day-to-day administrative support to tradespeople, supervisors and maintenance teams

- Liaising with internal departments to ensure the timely movement of parts and materials

- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys a busy,



varied role and can confidently balance administrative responsibilities with practical parts and equipment coordination.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in parts, stores, logistics, maintenance administration or a similar environment

- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and database systems

- Experience with ordering, inventory management, stock control or procurement

- Excellent attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills

- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with people across different departments

- Experience processing work orders, job tickets or maintenance documentation (highly regarded)

- Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, industrial or workshop environment (advantageous)

Experience in automotive parts, heavy equipment, mechanical workshops, maintenance support or Defence logistics would be particularly valuable.
