About the role

BMC Partnership is looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our transport team based in Moree, NSW. This is a varied driving role that offers the opportunity to work across cotton, grain, general freight and machinery transport rather than doing the same run every day. The transport fleet undertakes a broad range of work throughout the year, including cotton bale transport from farm to gin, grain cartage during harvest, general freight, agricultural machinery transport, heavy equipment and earthmoving machinery transport, and local, regional and interstate work. The fleet includes 2 x new Kenworth SAR 610 trucks, cotton transport combinations, grain combinations including AB-doubles and AB-triples, flat-top and step-deck combinations, heavy machinery transport equipment, and quad-axle float combinations. This variety means the role can change throughout the season, particularly around cotton and grain harvest.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operate trucks and trailer combinations

- Transport cotton, grain, machinery and general freight

- Complete daily pre-start inspections

- Ensure loads are correctly restrained and transported safely

- Complete required transport and delivery paperwork

- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements

- Maintain trucks and trailers in a clean and presentable condition

- Follow fatigue management, road transport and WHS requirements

- Communicate effectively with clients, operators and BMC management

- Assist with loading and unloading where required

About you





- Current heavy vehicle licence

- Experience operating heavy trucks and trailer combinations

- Good understanding of load restraint and transport safety

- Strong awareness of fatigue management requirements

- Good mechanical awareness

- Ability to complete basic vehicle checks and identify faults

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work independently

- Reliable and punctual work habits

- Willingness to work additional hours during busy harvest periods
