We are seeking an experienced Fire Compliance Officer / Administrator to join our clients established fire protection business.

This role is suited to someone with an existing background in fire compliance administration, essential fire safety measures and AFSS processes who can hit the ground running.

This is an opportunity to bring your existing fire compliance knowledge into a role where your experience will be valued. We are looking for someone who understands the processes, can work independently and is confident managing compliance administration from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) processes and submissions.
- Prepare, review and maintain fire compliance documentation.
- Coordinate essential services inspections and follow up outstanding compliance requirements.
- Liaise with clients, building managers, councils and contractors.
- Track inspection outcomes, defects and outstanding documentation.




- Assist with compliance reporting, record keeping and general administration.
- Ensure compliance records are accurate and maintained in line with relevant requirements.

About You

- Previous experience in fire compliance administration or a similar fire protection role is essential.
- Practical experience with AFSS preparation and submissions.
- Understanding of essential fire safety measures and relevant Australian Standards.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
- Experience with fire industry software such as Uptick or SimPRO will be advantageous.
