Our client is looking for a switched-on and organised person to join their busy team in a Parts Returns & Credits Officer role.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys administration and customer service but also has some experience working within a warehouse or parts environment.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be responsible for managing customer requests to return parts, checking whether returns meet company guidelines and ensuring everything is processed accurately.
This is a long-term temporary opportunity with a view to permanency, generally after approximately 12–18 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries and requests relating to returned parts
- Reviewing and assessing return requests against company guidelines
- Communicating with customers regarding approved and declined returns
- Liaising with internal teams and manufacturers regarding parts and returns
- Processing information accurately across various computer systems
- Physically inspecting returned parts to ensure they meet return requirements
- Assisting with basic warehouse duties associated with incoming and outgoing parts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Some understanding of warehouse operations, stock or parts handling
- Confidence communicating with customers, including handling difficult conversations
- A positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- This is predominantly a desk-based position (approximately 80%) with the remaining time spent inspecting returned parts and assisting with associated warehouse activities
- Must have forklift licence
