We are looking for a Design Sales Consultant to join our retail team, working directly alongside our Sales Supervisor, Retail & Externals. This is the role that turns a first enquiry into a beautifully finished home: confident consultation, considered design advice, accurate quoting and a client who feels looked after at every step.

This role sits at the heart of a design-led studio. You will work with beautiful product every day, own your clients from first conversation through to confirmed order, and be supported with ongoing product, design and sales training. It suits someone who loves people and design in equal measure, enjoys guiding clients to a confident decision, and takes real satisfaction in building a client book of their own.

About the role

You'll own the full client journey, from first enquiry to confirmed order. You'll run design consultations in our Osborne Park and Claremont showrooms and in clients' homes, recommending tailored solutions across curtains, blinds and motorisation, and working alongside our Sales Supervisor on external shading projects. You'll build your own client book and earn referrals from past clients, builders and local trades.

The Role





- Lead design consultations in our showrooms and in clients’ homes, understanding how each space is lived in before recommending a solution.

- Present tailored solutions across curtains, blinds, shutters and motorisation, and guide clients confidently to a decision.

- Prepare accurate, detailed quotes and follow up promptly. Every client deserves a timely, considered response.

- Conduct site measures, documenting measurements, installation notes and site requirements with precision.

- Check every order before submission. Millimetres matter.

- Build your own pipeline through follow-up, past client referrals and relationships with local builders and trades.

- Keep client records and activity current in our CRM and quoting systems.

- Share rostered Saturday showroom coverage with the team.

About You

- A natural consultant. You listen first, advise with confidence and close with care.

- A proven record in consultative sales, ideally in interiors, furnishings, architecture or premium retail. Aptitude and attitude matter more than years.

- A good eye for fabric, colour and space, and a genuine interest in interiors and premium product.

- Comfortable with numbers and measurements, and careful with detail.

- Strong with IT and quick to master new systems: CRM, quoting software and iPad-based workflows.

- Organised and self-managing, comfortable running multiple clients at once and following up without being chased.

- Experience in window furnishings or motorisation is a plus, but we will train the right person on our product and systems.

- Current Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
