Based at their Burton office, an outstanding new role as General Manager has arisen to shape and execute the company’s strategic goals as it enters an exciting new phase of business growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall management, performance, and profitability of the dealership. You will provide strategic direction across Sales, Service, Parts while leading a high-performing team, maintaining manufacturer relationships, and ensuring outstanding customer experiences.

The Key Responsibilities are as follows:

- Lead the overall operations and performance of the dealership.
- Review and execute the company’s strategic vision and plan.
- Develop and mentor high-performing leaders and teams.
- Drive and develop efficient sales performance, operational excellence, and improving customer satisfaction.




- Identify opportunities through sales activity to grow the businesses and achieve targets.
- Deliver projects on budget, on schedule and to high quality and technical requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, suppliers and industry partners.
- Promote the dealership within the local community and market.
- Provide confident, hands-on leadership, building high performing and accountable teams.

Key Requirements

- Successful track record within the automotive or a closely related sector in driving sales growth and leading and developing high performance cultures.
- Solid understanding of dealership operations across Sales, Service, Parts, and basic understanding of Finance.
- Hands-on leadership style, coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability for inspiring and motivating teams.
- Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff through to Dealer Principals.
