About the role

IEM Services (AUS) is seeking multiple E/I Maintenance Techs for long term projects on various mine sites throughout the Pilbara and offering multiple rosters also available. You will be responsible for ongoing preventative and predictive maintenance with a focus on electrical and instrumentation assets in the plant to achieve site standard efficiency, quality and safety.

Point of hire: Perth

Start Date: November 2026

End Date: Ongoing

Roster: 8/6 DS - 7/7 NS / 2:1 / 2:2

What we're looking for:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a plant maintenance technician

2. Loop checking and ITR's

3. Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (Electrical EEHA) inspections

4. Familiar with 4-20mA analog instrumentation

5. Familiar with valves, including setting and testing limit switches

6. Familiar with VEGA instrumentation level/pressure

7. Relevant trade qualifications and certifications

8. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and troubleshooting

9. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

10. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

11. Commitment to safety and quality standards

12. Effective communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:

A Grade Electrical License

Instrumentation Cert III or IV essential

Cert IV in Hazardous Areas





HV Switching favored but not essential

First Aid, LVR/CPR

White Card

Drivers Licence

Fire Attack

Police Clearance

Gas Testing

Working at Heights

Confined Spaces

High Risk License (EWP Ticket)

Willing to undergo work medical and drug and alcohol testing.

Rates are $83 per hour plus 15% nightshift loading and super on all hours.
