The Company
A leading Australian manufacturer of specialised heavy vehicles, seeking a reliable, forklift driver / storesperson to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive manufacturing environment, assembling specialised vehicles and components.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Recieve, unload and check incoming deliveries using a forklift.
- Verify goods against delivery dockets and purchase orders.
- Sort, label and organise parts within the storeroom.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, records and documentation
- Pick, pack and prepare parts for despatch and delivery
- Supply production teams with required materials and maintain a clean, secure and organised storeroom.
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
- Current and valid forklift licence (LF)
- Previous experience in a storeperson or warehouse role
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to use a computer for basic data entry and inventory records
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the production team
- Reliable, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
Hours & rates:
Hours: 9-day fortnight – every second Friday off
Rate: $43 per hour + super + paid overtime when needed
