The Mosman Park Golf Club is a challenging and picturesque 9-hole golf course overlooking the Swan River with scenic views extending to the city of Perth and the port of Fremantle.

We are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic Apprentice Greenkeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of our golf course and surrounding grounds. Reporting to the Course Superintendent and working within a small team your duties would encompass:

· Maintenance of greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes

· Setting up the course as required for competitions and tournaments.

· Fertiliser applications

· Irrigation maintenance and repairs

To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated individual with the following attributes:

· Enjoys working in a team setting

· Capable of physical work

· An eye for detail

· Enjoy working outdoors

· Willingness to learn





Candidates must be available to work a fixed weekday roster with early morning starts which includes some weekends at overtime rates.

The apprenticeship is 4 years long and includes attending TAFE 1 day a week for 3 years, which is all covered by the club.

The successful applicant will be an Australian resident and will be remunerated above the National Employment Standards. Staff lunches are also supplied.

Current 1st or 2nd year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
