About the role

HARDLINE GROUP delivers telecommunications tower, substation, electrical infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Australia. With more than 300 greenfield sites delivered to major clients, we’re growing our teams and looking for an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join us.

Based on the Gold Coast, you'll lead site crews, coordinate daily works and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working closely with Supervisors and the Project Manager, you'll oversee a mix of local and interstate projects, with travel, flights and accommodation provided when working away.

What You’ll Do

· Lead daily civil works, organise crews and maintain productivity.

· Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors so the crew keeps moving

· Read drawings and specs, and build to them

· Work with your Supervisor to hold program and quality

· Lead by example and stop work whenever safety is compromised

· Keep site records current using email, apps and site photos

· Travel to projects across Australia, including regional and remote sites

About You

You take ownership, communicate clearly and know how to get the best out of a crew.

· Proven civil construction and crew leadership experience.

· Confident reading plans, organising work and leading by example.

· Strong communication, accountability and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable with email, phone apps and site photo reporting

· Reliable and accountable, with a strong work ethic and the commitment to see every job through to completion.

· Current White Card (essential); HR licence advantageous.





· Willing to travel and work away from home

Highly regarded: concreting (formwork, reo, pours and finishing), plus telco, electrical or renewables experience.
