Jobwire is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our client, a specialist railway equipment supplier, and help drive business growth.
This is a hands on role combining technical knowledge, business development and customer engagement. You'll identify new opportunities, develop tailored technical solutions, conduct product trials and build lasting customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Identify new customers and business opportunities across the rail and industrial sectors.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
- Understand customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and product trials.
- Convert opportunities into sales and long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with customers, product managers and business partners.
What You'll Bring
- Certificate III or IV in Engineering, or relevant technical qualifications.
- 3 + years combined technical and sales/commercial experience.
- Experience or exposure to rail, rolling stock, infrastructure or industrial equipment (highly regarded).
- Solid communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial thinking and a practical, problem-solving approach.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and a current driver's licence.
