Employment Status: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $40.14 per hour ( inclusive of all allowances including Worker Retention Payment) plus $11.48 per hour Regional Locality Allowance plus super.
Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

THE ROLE

As a Diploma Qualified Educator in our Kindy Room, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and engaging learning workplace where children feel supported to explore, learn and grow.
Working alongside our experienced educators and leadership team, you'll help plan and deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths and developmental needs.
You'll build positive relationships with children and families, contribute to educational programming and documentation, and support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.
You'll also have the opportunity to share your knowledge, support fellow educators and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF)



and National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive practices
- Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Confidence in supporting and mentoring other educators and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, local community knowledge and diverse family backgrounds
- Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach to your work
- A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one
- Valid working rights in Australia
