Darrall Gibson & Sons is a locally owned commercial plastering business with over 60 years experience working on large-scale projects across Newcastle and the Hunter Region. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Storeman/Delivery Driver to keep our materials moving and our projects supplied. An immediate start is available for the right person.
This is a key role in our business. You'll be the link between our suppliers, our store and our sites. you'll have real scope to make the role your own.
What You'll Do
Receive, manage, and stock incoming deliveries; maintain accurate stock levels across multiple projects
Order materials and liaise with suppliers on orders, pickups, and timing
Deliver materials to site and collect goods from suppliers
Remove surplus materials from site and complete tip runs as needed
Maintain site sheds, store cleanliness, and overall warehouse organisation
Maintain company vehicles and forklift
Assist site personnel and respond to changing site needs throughout the day
What You'll Need
Current Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence with hands-on experience
Current Forklift licence with hands-on experience
White Card (Construction Induction)
Background in storeman or construction roles

Can-do attitude with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Comfortable when plans change — and they will
Transparent communicator with suppliers, site teams, and the office
Takes pride in a well-run store
What's On Offer
$52.00/hr base rate plus allowances and 14.5% super
36-hour week with 4 hours accrued towards an RDO each week
Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm
Occasional optional overtime based on workload
