About the role Hellers Australia is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Production team in Jandakot. This is a hands-on leadership role working on the AM shift, where you will be responsible for leading production employees, achieving daily production targets, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and creating a safe and productive work environment. Reporting to the Production Area Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to production teams across a range of manufacturing areas as operationally required.

Key responsibilities
Lead and coordinate production employees to achieve daily production schedules
Allocate labour and resources across production operations
Monitor productivity, quality, waste and operational performance
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and GMP requirements
Promote a strong safety culture and secure work practices
Support employee training, coaching and development
Escalate operational issues and downtime promptly
Drive continuous improvement initiatives

About you
Experience in a manufacturing,



food processing or production environment
Previous experience leading or supervising teams
Strong communication and people leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety, food safety and quality standards
Availability to work the AM shift and support operational requirements
Desirable: Food manufacturing experience
Desirable: HACCP knowledge or training
Desirable: Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience
Desirable: First Aid qualification or Forklift Licence
