CrewSELECT is seeking Construction and Installation Electricians for permanent opportunities across our client’s Karratha and Tom Price branches.
Bring your commercial and residential electrical experience to a range of projects across mine sites, supporting infrastructure and surrounding communities. These roles focus on Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), making them a great prospect for electricians wanting to build a FIFO career using their existing construction and installation skills.
The opportunity
Permanent full-time employment with ongoing work and indefinite contracts.
Up to $69 per hour + superannuation + paid leave and full time benefits.
2:1 roster, working 12-hour days on day shift only.
FIFO from Perth, or DIDO opportunities for Tom Price and Karratha locals.
Strong career progression opportunities with a tier-one contractor in this space.
Mobilisation from Western Australia only.
The work
You’ll deliver electrical construction and installation works across a varied project mix, including:
Office refurbishments and fit-outs.
Camp facilities and accommodation works.
Dome installations.
Residential housing.
DV installations.
Other commercial and residential infrastructure supporting mine operations.
The ideal background is commercial and residential electrical construction and installation. Heavy industrial electrical experience is not the focus of these positions.
What you’ll need
Current WA Electrical Licence.
Working at Heights.
Current LVR/CPR.
EWP ticket.
Relevant commercial or residential electrical installation experience.
A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.
Rio Tinto inductions are advantageous but not essential. Successful applicants can be put through the required inductions.
