Accurate Recruitment is seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our client’s busy manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone with a strong industrial background who enjoys working with tools, assisting tradespeople and supporting maintenance and production operations.
If you have practical welding skills, workshop experience and a proactive approach to getting the job done, this could be the opportunity for you!
Your Responsibilities-Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks-Using a variety of hand and power tools-Carrying out welding tasks as required-Supporting maintenance and production operations-Assisting with general workshop duties-Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining a tidy work area-Working independently and as part of a team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:-Previous experience in a manufacturing,
industrial or workshop setting-Welding knowledge or hands-on welding experience – mandatory-Current LF Forklift Licence – essential-Experience assisting tradespeople or maintenance teams-Confidence using hand and power tools-A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail-A reliable, safety-focused attitude and robust work ethic
What’s on Offer?-$36.00 per hour casual rate-Monday to Friday roster-Consistent weekday hours-Chance for permanent employment-Immediate start for the right candidate-On-call or weekend work may occasionally be required, but is extremely infrequent
