An exciting chance has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join an established Brisbane commercial contractor delivering quality projects across Queensland.
Working across commercial projects valued up to $20M, the business has built a strong reputation for quality project delivery, supported by an experienced, down-to-earth team and well-established systems and processes.
With a growing pipeline of work, the business is looking to appoint a CA who is ready to take on greater responsibility, work closely with an experienced Project Manager and benefit from robust mentoring and genuine career progression.
About the Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and contractual administration of the projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing head contract and subcontract administration, including procurement, tendering, claims, variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
Overseeing subcontractor scope, pricing, negotiations and contract letting.
Monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasting and monthly commercial reporting.
Assessing claims, managing variations and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
Maintaining accurate contractual and commercial documentation across project systems.
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
Working closely with the Project Manager to achieve robust commercial outcomes and manage the project through to Practical Completion and final account.
About You
We are looking for a Contract Administrator who is commercially astute, organised and enjoys being part of a collaborative construction team.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
Experience across aged care, health, multi residential or other complex construction projects highly regarded
The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a project team
Relevant construction or commercial qualification
