About the role

This role combines hands-on knowledge, problem-solving, mentoring and career development. You'll bring electrotechnology to life by delivering engaging, practical and industry-relevant training, assessing learner competency against applicable training package requirements, and connecting electrical theory with real-world workplace applications. You'll support apprentices with different learning styles, abilities and levels of experience, create a positive learning environment built on safety, respect, accountability and high standards, and build solid relationships with learners, employers and industry partners.

Key responsibilities
Deliver engaging, practical and industry-relevant training
Assess learner competency against applicable training package requirements

Maintain accurate assessment records and training documentation
Keep your technical knowledge current with electrical industry practices, standards and emerging technologies
Build strong relationships with learners, employers and industry partners

About you
Relevant electrical trade qualifications and substantial industry experience
Current or eligible electrical licensing relevant to the role and jurisdiction
A genuine interest in mentoring, coaching and developing others
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simply
A commitment to safe work practices, quality training and fair assessment
Relevant training and assessment credentials, or a willingness and eligibility to obtain the required credentials in accordance with applicable RTO and regulatory requirements
