EMC is a medium-sized civil construction company looking for a motivated and experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join the growing team. The role involves managing projects, identifying new opportunities and helping take the business to the next level.
Key responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates, tenders and quotations for civil construction projects
Manage projects from initial estimating through to completion
Actively follow up on submitted quotes and tenders to secure new work
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders and subcontractors
Identify recent business opportunities and actively pursue future projects
Coordinate with site supervisors and construction teams to ensure projects run efficiently
Monitor project costs, budgets and timelines
About you
Proven experience in civil construction estimating and project management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong understanding of civil construction operations, costs and site requirements
Proactive attitude with the drive to chase opportunities and win work
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Solid work ethic, accountability and attention to detail
Takes ownership of work and is willing to go the extra mile
