Edge Workshop is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator & Welder to join our small team.
We are a well-established Perth business specialising in custom architectural metalwork.
We design and manufacture everything from bespoke letterboxes and address plates to decorative screens, gates, fencing and other architectural metalwork.
This isn't a repetitive factory production job.
Every project is different, and you'll be working with a variety of materials, designs and fabrication techniques.
Key responsibilities
Reading and working from fabrication and CAD drawings
Measuring, marking out, cutting and folding sheet metalMIG and TIG welding
Fabricating stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel and Corten steel
Building custom frames, panels, screens, gates and architectural products
Grinding, linishing and finishing to a high standard
Using workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools
Checking your own work for accuracy, quality and finish
Working with waterjet-cut components and incorporating them into finished products
Keeping the workshop clean, organised and secure
Some installation work may be required
Working with in house design team to produce solutions for projects
