Our client is seeking experienced Welders to join a busy workshop team based in the Rocklea Area. This is an ongoing prospect working on the fabrication, repair and assembly of heavy construction and mining equipment, offering reliable hours, excellent rates and immediate starts. Candidates will be required to complete a weld test as part of the recruitment process.

Duties
MIG welding and fabrication of heavy steel components
Manufacture, repair and assembly of construction and mining equipment
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Welding thick plate steel to a high standard
General workshop duties
Requirements
Previous welding or heavy fabrication experience
Ability to pass a weld test
Experience working with thick plate steel
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Reliable transport and solid work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety
