About the Role

Nexus Energy Solutions specialises in generator hire, sales, installations and electrical connections, providing reliable power solutions to commercial, industrial and construction sites. We service some of Australia's leading commercial and industry providers in the retail, fuel, and medical sector.

We are currently looking for a motivated, capable A-Grade Electrician to join our team, working across generator installations, temporary power connections and associated electrical infrastructure. We are interested ideally in those with at least experience two years A-Grade Electrical experience, that have previously worked with generator connections, ATS systems, changeovers, switchboards, temporary power and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include:
Installing and connecting generators across commercial and industrial sites.
Installing generator changeover switches, ATS systems, switchboards and connection boxes.
Completing mains cabling, electrical testing and commissioning.




Carrying out fault-finding and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements.
Completing job reports, testing records and Certificates of Electrical Safety as required.
Representing Nexus professionally and delivering high quality work for our clients.

Requirements for the Role
Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs.
Willingness to travel to sites across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
