City College Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced Solid Plastering Trainer & Assessor to join our vocational education and training team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training to students enrolled in CPC31020 – Certificate III in Solid Plastering, ensuring training and assessment are conducted in accordance with applicable training package requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom-based and practical training sessions.
Conduct competency-based assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Support students in developing practical skills and industry knowledge.
Maintain accurate training, assessment and student progress records.
Ensure training and assessment practices comply with applicable ASQA requirements and college policies.
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities.

Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Solid Plastering or a relevant equivalent trade qualification.




TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Demonstrated industry experience in solid plastering.
Current knowledge of industry practices, tools and workplace safety requirements.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Valid Australian working rights.

Desirable
Previous experience delivering vocational training in an RTO workplace.
Experience assessing CPC31020 – Certificate III in Solid Plastering.
Familiarity with student management and learning management systems.
